Designer Julz is a design and development studio based in Durban. We are problem solvers who are passionate about our jobs. Designer Julz is headed up by CED (Chief Executive Designer), Julian Moodley. Our philosophy is simple. Use the right tools and technology to create for our clients exactly what they need to accomplish their goals.

We’re small, and for good reason: we abhor bureaucracy and unnecessary hierarchy. Instead, we give our clients direct access to the people who do the thinking and the work. Meanwhile, we speak frankly and ask our clients to do the same. Great creative doesn’t come easily, but by communicating clearly, we’ve been able to help a number of groups find their stories and tell them effectively.
Big Ideas
Arriving at consistently good ideas is the result of equal parts discipline and play. While the first of these provides structure and accountability; the second is where the magic happens.To maintain these seemingly disparate practices, we’ve developed rigorous methodology, and are passionate about our self-directed projects that give us time to explore and grow.

Good Work
Through more than 4 years of solid work, we’ve gained national recognition from some pretty impressive folks. Our creativity has been seen by many of our countries highly esteemed dignitaries, showcased at, Durban’s ICC (International Convention Centre), various malls within our metropolitan network. We have also had the opportunity to work in numerous CSI initiatives, including CSI Business Congress & Business Action Against AIDS.
